Privacy Policy

BelemK Gallery is a small, independently run shop. This page explains what information we collect through this site, why, and who it's shared with — in plain language, not legal boilerplate.

What we collect, and why

• Newsletter signup — if you enter your email to get new-arrival updates, that email is stored with our email provider, Resend, so we can send those updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Contact, consignment ("Sell With Us"), and inquiry forms — name, email, phone (if given), and your message are sent directly to the gallery owner's inbox via Resend, so we can respond to you.
• Purchases — checkout is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own secure payment page. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe processes and stores that under its own privacy and security policies.
• The "Ask BelemK" chat assistant — messages you type into the chat are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a response. We don't separately store a transcript of your chat.
• Favorites — pieces you save to "My Favorites" are stored only in your own browser (localStorage). We never receive or see your favorites list.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the site: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery and the newsletter list), Anthropic (the chat assistant), and Vercel (hosting). We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

Cookies

This site doesn't set its own tracking or advertising cookies. Stripe's checkout page may set its own cookies as part of processing your payment securely, under Stripe's own policies.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send. To ask what information we have about you, or to have your contact-form or newsletter data deleted, email us at hello@belemkgallery.com.

Children

This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
